Filir d.o.o. was founded on December 11, 2000, in Vukovar, taking over the distribution activities of the existing distribution company Dicentra d.o.o., with the goal of continuing the business that has been successfully developing since 1994. The company's primary activity is the import, representing, and distribution of domestic and foreign brands in the Croatian market.

The acquisition of the brand Bobi Snacks and its product line took place in May 2014, further strengthening Filir's position in the snack products market.
