These privacy rules explain the reasons and ways in which Filir Ltd. (hereinafter: “FILIR”) processes your Personal Data.
FILIR protects and retains your Personal Data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) and the Law on Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Read these rules carefully in order to understand how your Personal Data is collected and processed.

Types of data processed
Personal Data will be collected for specific purposes of managing the company’s import and distribution activities. FILIR will process their client and employee’s personal information such as name and surname, date and place of birth, address, nationality, citizenship, personal identification number, professional qualification, gender, protected accounts, current account, dependants, suspension of payments, certificate of medical examination.
Open job applications
FILIR gathers open job applications from candidates who are interested in working with the company when there are no vacancies. Only authorized FILIR personnel have access to Personal Data found in open job applications. Each candidate’s data will be stored for a year, starting from the point of receiving the application.
Job application process
FILIR processes Candidate’s Personal Data and all the files containing Candidate’s Personal Data will remain in the company’s files until the job application process finishes. After the job application process has finished, FILIR will keep the Personal Data from the selected candidates, who will co-sign a work contract with the company as well as Personal Data from those candidates who have agreed for their data to be stored in the company’s base for one year since their application. Only authorized FILIR personnel have access to Personal Data found in job application.
Purposes, legal basis for processing and possible consequences of non-disclosure of Personal Data
Your Personal Data will be processed due to the legal regulations which require certain procedures, due to the fulfillment of the contractual obligations, due to pre-contract agreement actions as well as FILIR’s legitimate interest unless there are bigger interests involved or in cases of protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
If we cannot process your information based on the given legal basis, FILIR will ask for your consent. In that case, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time. In the case of consent withdrawal, you need to notify FILIR’s Personal Data Protection Officer at the following e-mail address: gdpr@filir.hr. The conducted consent withdrawal will not affect the legitimacy of processing based on the pre-withdrawal consent.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, your Personal Data will be processed in cases of closing contracts and fulfilling rights and obligations found in the contracts with our business partners with the purpose of improving our business.
Your rights
FILIR informs you of your right to rectify or access data, to restrict processing of your data, to transmit your Personal Data, and to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency). You can also, at any time, object to processing your information for marketing purposes. You also have the right to know the recipients or categories of recipients to whom your Personal Information will be disclosed.
Safety practices
The security of your Personal Data is extremely important to us. We have set up appropriate physical, electronic, and management procedures to protect the data we collect. However, due to inherent and open nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that some of the Personal Data we collect will be completely safe from unauthorized third party access.
To the utmost extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for any damages you might suffer due to loss, unauthorized access, misuse or any alteration of information processed by FILIR.

We will retain and assess information about your recent visit to our website and parts of our website, which you have used to achieve analytical goals i.e. to identify and understand information that interest our users the most.
